The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for professionally and efficiently delivering HR advice and operational support to both UK and International based business units and functions. The HR Advisor will proactively partner with the HR contacts within the Business Units to which they are aligned to deliver operational HR support to the needs of their client groups. The HR Advisor will apply their domain expertise ensuring that all HR activities are executed in line with relevant legislation, and that risks are identified and mitigated where appropriate.

Please note that this role is fixed term for 12 months to cover a secondment.
Key Responsibilities
- To partner with the HR contact and build effective relationships with relevant Line Managers and stakeholders within the business to which they are aligned, to provide expertise in operational HR advice, enabling HR stakeholders to reduce their involvement in operational HR activities
- Support the team through owning and resolving general HR enquiries that have been escalated by the HR Coordinator, or delegated by the HR Team Leader, HR Business Partner or HR Manager
- Own Employee Relations cases within the business units including disciplinary, grievance and mediation, performance management, and supporting HR Advisor colleagues where required
- Support the recruitment process within assigned Business Units and Talent Acquisition
- With attention to detail, peer check offer paperwork generated within the team, ensuring accuracy and provide feedback constructively for areas for improvement
- Work with HR Coordinators to gather data and analytics where required
- Oversee the systems used within the team ensuring they’re fit for purpose and are an enabler to processes
- To be an active participant in project work as required
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Educated to A level or equivalent standard, and a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified
- Experience of providing generalist HR support at an International level
- Experience in generalist fast-paced HR support within a team function
- Able to work on multiple tasks at once without becoming overwhelmed
- Experience in complex ER cases
- Experienced working with multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Proven experience of project work, seeing things through to completion
- Strong interpersonal skills; builds and maintains strong and effective working partnerships with managers and colleagues at all levels
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and drive positive employee change
- Attention to detail; quick and accurate, notices when information doesn’t look right and corrects errors
- Experience with managing organisational design would be advantageous
