About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join a well-established professional services organization based in Southampton. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment. The HR Advisor will play a vital part in supporting managers and employees through the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring HR policies and practices are consistently applied and aligned with legal requirements and organizational goals. The successful candidate will be proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications
- Solid background in generalist HR functions
- Previous experience at the HR Advisor level or equivalent
- Relevant qualifications such as CIPD Level 3, with a strong preference for candidates studying towards Level 5 or possessing practical experience
- Thorough knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach to work
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters, ensuring adherence to employment legislation and company policies.
- Support employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance-related issues, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
- Assist in managing recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding procedures to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including annual renewal processes and liaising with external providers and brokers to ensure optimal employee benefits packages.
- Support HR projects, policy reviews, and process improvements aimed at enhancing HR service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
- Contribute to learning and development initiatives, helping to identify training needs and support professional growth within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring data integrity and supporting the preparation of people-related reports and analytics.
