HR Advisor - Part Time (28 hours per week)

Location: Broughton, Chester (Site-Based)
Contract: 6 Months (with potential extension)
Hours: 28 hours per week, worked between 7am and 7pm (hours agreed based on business needs)
Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour PAYE | £28.09 per hour Umbrella
Security Clearance: BPSS+ Clearance required (completed by Airbus Security)
Interview Process: One-stage virtual interview

Are you an organised and people-focused HR professional looking for your next challenge? Airbus is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to support a busy HR function at its Broughton site. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your HR experience within a world-leading aerospace organisation, working closely with HR Business Partners, managers and employees to deliver high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle.

This role would suit someone with a solid foundation in HR who enjoys balancing administration, employee support and stakeholder engagement while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and compliance standards.

What You'll Be Doing

As an HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and consistently across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting HR Business Partners with annual HR activities, including salary reviews, performance reviews and bonus processes.
  • Managing employee lifecycle transactions through Workday and SAP, from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and producing regular HR data, reports and metrics including absenteeism and headcount information.
  • Coordinating HR review activities and ensuring managers provide timely, high-quality inputs.
  • Supporting employee relations activities, including disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes.
  • Acting as a key contact for arranging and supporting initial medical capability meetings.
  • Assisting with recruitment activities and processing formal job offers.
  • Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who can bring:

  • Previous experience working within an HR environment.
  • Experience using Workday and/or SAP (desirable).
  • Strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence managing sensitive employee data with accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience supporting absence management, disciplinary processes, recruitment activities and related HR administration.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to work.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD status.
  • Experience using Google Workspace applications for data management and reporting.
