Role: HR Advisor
Location: Birmingham, hybrid
Job Type: Permanent, Part time. (22.5 hours PW - 3 Days)
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join our client's fantastic team, this individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive advice and support across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with managers, they deliver pragmatic HR solutions, manage employee relations matters, support recruitment and organisational change, and ensure HR practices remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including absence management, performance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
- Coach and support managers to apply policies consistently while ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding activities, from job description creation and candidate screening to induction and retention support.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, HR systems, reporting, and the maintenance of accurate employee records.
- Assist with organisational change projects, performance management initiatives, and wider HR projects.
- Review, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, delivering guidance and training where required.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and use HR data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Proven HR advisory experience
- Strong employee relations knowledge
- Sound understanding of employment law
- Experience using HR systems and reporting tools
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
CIPD qualification desirable.
