HR Advisor | 6 months FTC | Near Wolverhampton | up to £40K plus benefits | Full Time

Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a well-established organisation near Wolverhampton who are looking to appoint an HR Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract, hybrid working. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a supportive team and make an immediate impact.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you'll provide a broad HR advisory service across the business, working closely with managers and employees to provide practical, commercially focused advice.

You'll be involved in a varied range of HR activity, including:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Supporting with employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance matters
  • Advising managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring processes are followed
  • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor who is confident working across a broad generalist remit and can quickly get up to speed in a new environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
  • Strong employee relations experience
  • The confidence to advise and challenge managers where appropriate
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A pragmatic, commercial, and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
