HR Advisor

Central Bedfordshire (Office Based)

£33,000 - £35,000 per annum

12 Month FTC (Could become permanent)

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and fast-paced business?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a proactive HR Advisor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys providing practical HR support, building strong relationships with managers and employees, and playing a key role across the employee life cycle.

Key responsibilities for a HR Advisor

  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Manage employee life cycle administration, including onboarding, contracts, and HR records.
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising roles to issuing offers.
  • Handle employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.
  • Coordinate inductions, probation reviews, and employee development activities.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Produce HR reports, maintain accurate people data, and support HR projects.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and promote HR best practice while supporting the wider leadership team.

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Administrator position.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience handling employee relations cases.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous.
