You will coordinate People Playbook activities and maintain accurate HR data, ensuring transactional tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time. Using good judgement and effective communication, you will build line manager capability and embed practical, inclusive ways of working that enhance engagement and wellbeing. Working collaboratively with the HR Business Partner’s and wider HR workstreams, you will play a key role in delivering a reliable, consistent, and positive employee experience.

  • Manage a range of employee relations cases, escalating more complex or high-risk matters to the HR Business Partner or Senior HRBP as required.
  • Support case work for medical declarations, sickness absence, occupational health referrals, and the PHI application process.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and documentation, supporting high-volume transactional activity and ensuring records are up to date and audit-ready.
  • Identify emerging people issues, flagging risks early and supporting managers to resolve them through good practice and consistent application of policy and governance.
  • Support capability building for managers, offering practical guidance, coaching on process steps, and reinforcing effective ways of working.
  • Prepare Peakon engagement reporting for assigned areas, providing insight and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Promote inclusion, engagement, and wellbeing, ensuring activities, communications, and processes reflect inclusive practice across the business.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting a smooth, positive employee experience.
  • Prepare clear, accurate HR reports and insights, ensuring data integrity and providing timely updates to support decision-making.
  • Support effective communication, helping shape and share people updates for team meetings, manager briefings, and divisional communications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
