Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our busy People Team on a fixed term basis for 13 months maternity cover contract. Based at our Head Office in Carlisle, this role also offers flexibility to work from home.

The successful candidate MUST have 2 years + as a professional HR Advisor and provide support to managers and employees across the organisation, helping to deliver an effective and people-focused HR service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice, coaching, and guidance to our operational managers and employees
  • Support employee relations casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
  • Work collaboratively with the operations admin team
  • Support operational managers through a busy period of change and growth
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
  • Support in all aspects of TUPE activity

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (essential)
  • Experience of working in Facilities Management (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role with a 2 year + experience
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites if required
  • Enjoy being part of a fast-paced HR team
