HR Advisor (3-Months)

Make a Positive Impact Through People

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong working relationships, providing expert people advice, and helping organisations navigate employee matters with confidence? Reed Business Support are seeking a Temporary HR Advisor to join a busy HR team and provide valuable support across a wide range of employee relations and HR activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Of The Role

  • Providing first-line HR advice on employee relations matters.
  • Supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance processes.
  • Advising managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment best practice.
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Helping ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Producing HR reports and management information.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist position.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations processes and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous.
