Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers, solving complex people challenges and making a real difference to the employee experience?

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the People Team of a successful and evolving organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment and who can combine strong technical HR knowledge with a practical, approachable style.

Working closely with the HR Business Partners and wider People Team, you will play an important role in delivering the people strategy, supporting managers and helping to embed a positive culture aligned to the company’s values.

About the role

A key focus of the role will be providing high-quality HR advice and support to managers and colleagues across a range of employee relations and wider people matters.

You will build strong relationships with managers, coaching and supporting them through often complex and sensitive situations, while ensuring that advice is consistent with company policies, employment legislation and best practice.

The role will support colleagues across several locations, so the ability and willingness to travel between sites will be important.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers and colleagues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.

  • Coach and support managers through informal and formal employee relations processes, including absence, investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance improvement and appeals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
