About the Role

We are looking for two HR Advisors (2-year FTC) to support and coordinate a broad range of HR activities, providing trusted guidance and advice to the business across areas including performance management, employee relations, policy and procedure interpretation, and organisational design.

What you'll be doing

  • Support managers on all areas of Employee Relations and performance management, ensuring fairness and consistency across teams and directorates.
  • Assist HR Business Partners/Managers with Employee Relations administration.
  • Lead on monitoring and supporting long and short term absences, liaising with Occupational Health and HR Business Partners as appropriate.
  • Advise managers on performance management issues, escalating to HR Business Partners as appropriate.
  • Manage and respond to general HR queries on a daily basis.

What we are looking for

  • Evidence of attainment of good literacy and numeracy, e.g. GCSEs or equivalent demonstrable prior learning).
  • Qualified, or working towards CIPD level 3 or relevant experience of an HR Advisor role.
  • Ability to engage effectively with managers and employees at all levels of the organisation, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in an HR environment, providing advice and support on a range of key activities including capability and absence management.
  • Sound knowledge of HR policy, best practice and employment legislation.

Office Expectancy

  • Full-time office-based during the initial training period, transitioning to a hybrid working model thereafter, with 2–3 days per week office-based and the remaining days working from home.
