Internship Opportunity: Legal and HR Intern (Remote, UK)
Company: Metrocart UK Ltd.
Duration: 3 months (Unpaid)
Location: Fully Remote (UK-based candidates preferred)
About Metrocart: Founded in 2022, Metrocart UK Ltd. is a fast-growing distributor of Afro-Caribbean, South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Oriental grocery products. Our mission is to connect cultures through food by combining innovation, efficiency, and collaboration. As we continue to expand, we are enhancing our internal legal and HR operations to support sustainable growth and a strong organizational culture.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Legal and HR Intern to assist our team with day-to-day legal operations, HR processes, and administrative coordination. This remote internship offers hands-on experience in both legal and human resources fields within a multicultural and fast-growing UK company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting and reviewing contracts
- Support HR operations, including onboarding, record management, and policy updates
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Prepare and maintain legal and HR documentation
- Contribute to process improvement and internal communication initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth business operations
Qualifications:
- Background or strong interest in Law, Human Resources, or Business Administration
- Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Previous internship or coursework in legal or HR areas is advantageous
