Working as part of our People Team

You’ll provide high-quality HR and recruitment administration across the business, helping us deliver a positive experience for candidates, colleagues, and managers.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across our Retail and Bakery Operations as well as the wider People Team, supporting recruitment activity and the day-to-day administration that keeps our people processes running smoothly.

No two days will be exactly the same. You could be coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates one moment, updating employee records, or preparing HR documentation the next.

You’ll play an important part in helping us recruit great people, provide an excellent candidate and colleague experience, and ensure our processes remain accurate, efficient, and fit for a growing business.

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting recruitment activity from vacancy and candidate administration through to onboarding.
  • Acting as a professional and welcoming point of contact for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Coordinating interviews and maintaining accurate recruitment schedules and records.
  • Supporting managers and key stakeholders across the business with recruitment and HR administration.
  • Maintaining accurate colleague information within our HR systems, including new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Preparing HR letters, documents, and information accurately and on time.
  • Monitoring and recording absence and other employee information.
  • Supporting the administration of welfare meetings, exit interviews, and formal People processes.
  • Managing HR and recruitment inboxes, responding to enquiries, and prioritising activity effectively.
  • Producing reports and helping identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintaining confidential employee and candidate records securely and in line with data protection requirements.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the People Team to improve processes and support people-focused projects.
  • Looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working as the business continues to grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
