We are an anti-bullying and anti-violence charity registered in the UK and Italy. We are in the process of recruiting experienced HR professionals (volunteers), that allow our organisation to grow in the long term.

What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone with a human resources and recruiting background, willing to dedicate their time to our mission.
- Someone emphatic and easy-going, committed to doing good for the community.
- Especially with the ability and passion to increase our retention levels and improve our staff performance.
- Previous management experience in Recruitment.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Capacity to ensure the smooth running of our HR Systems (CRMs, databases, ATS, Reach Volunteering Platform).
- Confident speaking in public, conducting interviews and sharing new ideas.
- Knowledge of GDPR principles.
- Supportive attitude and willing to take ownership & leadership.

What Will You Be Doing?
The HR and Recruitment Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of one of the recruitment functions, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the recruitment process.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who can manage a team, develop strategies, and enhance employee experience while ensuring compliance with charity policies and legal regulations.
Job Specification
- Lead, mentor, and manage the HR Recruitment team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and monitor the progress of team members.
- Provide training and development opportunities to the team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand volunteer needs and align recruitment efforts with charity objectives.
- Maintain and optimise recruitment tools and platforms to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Oversee volunteers' onboarding processes, ensuring new hires are integrated effectively into the charity.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage volunteer relations, addressing issues such as performance and conduct.
- Oversee the performance management process, including performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms.
- Explore learning and development opportunities by creating videos and manuals for our staff.
