Cygnet Hospital Stevenage
Cygnet Hospital Stevenage offers a range of secure, PICU and acute mental health services for men and women in a purpose-built therapeutic environment where the focus is on maximising positive outcomes and recovery.
We are currently recruiting for a HR and Training Coordinator
To support the provision and utilization of efficient and effective systems to support the Hospital’s Training and HR processes.
Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities
The post-holder will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the HR system is kept fully up to date with staff records
- Coordination and allocation of training
- Ensuring compliance
- Reporting stats
- Providing administration support to management and the HR team
You will work 37.5 hours per week Mon – Fri based in a hospital setting.

Main Duties
- Ensure HR systems are regularly maintained & updated
- Organising the provision of induction and statutory and mandatory training according to the monthly/quarterly calendar. Including booking of rooms and tutors, arranging of training equipment and printed materials
- Ensuring that new starters receive corporate inductions and work booklets
- Ensure new Support workers are compliant with Care Certificate standards and are provided with the Cygnet care certificate workbooks as required
- Organising and coordination all internal and external interviews
- Supporting with maintaining of employment HR files
- Supporting and creating internal employment contracts
- Logging of all training attendance on the Achieve system and monitoring of Hospital compliance statistics in line with company requirements
- Arranging and booking face to face training
- Responsible for the accuracy of data on the HR systems and Training databases

We're Looking For People Who Have
- Relevant experience in busy office environment
- Experience of working in a HR or Training department
- Good oral and written communication
- Well-developed skills in word, excel and databases
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Note taking at meetings
- Flexible and adaptable
- Responsible and service orientated
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to staff development
