YOUR NEXT ROLE: HR Apprentice

The HR Apprentice will support the Shiseido UK & Ireland People & Payroll Team in delivering a professional, efficient, and employee-focused HR service. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical HR experience while working towards a recognised HR apprenticeship qualification.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initially reporting into the Corporate HR Advisor however rotating around the HR team at various moments of time to complete the following:
  • Respond to basic level HR queries, to support our People and Culture Coordinator
  • Support with employee administration, contracts, employee letters and references.
  • Process HR updates to our internal HR system
  • Assist with organising internal events, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Support with employee advocacy through careers fairs, intern recruitment activities
  • Produce routine and efficient HR data reports through our internal systems
  • Monitor and manage EDF inbox queries, escalating where necessary.
  • Support on new launches and employee engagement & wellbeing activities via our Office Team
  • Maintain our L&D records for the highest level of accuracy, updating the HR team on a monthly basis
  • Support retail HR with appraisal and performance administration via the Retail HR Advisor
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and assessment activities

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Someone who is keen to start their career in HR
  • No qualifications needed - we are happy to support CIPD Apprenticeship
  • Someone who is a keen learner and actively seek opportunities to develop HR knowledge and skills.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources and people management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Interested in pursuing a CIPD qualification.
  • Tech savvy, can quickly learn HR systems or databases.
