HR Apprentice at US Law Firm
A brand-new and fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Apprentice to join one of London’s most prestigious US law firms on an initial 2-year contract. This is an exciting entry-level role for someone looking to start their HR career, ideally with previous HR intern or work experience under their belt to provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle while completing a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

HR Apprentice – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support onboarding and offboarding, including new starter paperwork, inductions, and exit administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems throughout the employee lifecycle
- Support right-to-work checks, background checks, and HR compliance
- Respond to routine employee and benefits queries, escalating more complex matters where needed
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including pension, private medical, and life assurance
- Support recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and candidate communications
- Assist with HR reporting, data, and headcount tracking
- Draft routine HR correspondence and employee communications

HR Apprentice – What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine interest in learning about Human Resources within a law firm
- Willingness to undertake formal study as part of the apprenticeship programme supported by the firm
- Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
