We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a HR & Recruitment Apprentice to join our Group HR team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition while gaining a recognised qualification and valuable hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle.
About The Role
The HR & Recruitment Apprentice will have the opportunity to develop and learn across two core areas to include HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition.
The role will provide a foundation in HR generalist activities that support the employee lifecycle such as updating our HR systems with things like new starter and leaver records as well as monitoring key dates and changes across employee information, absence management and performance management.
This will lead nicely into the Talent Acquisition activities from learning how to write a job advert, candidate attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection and the onboarding of candidates.
You will lead on onboarding activities which typically include; Right to Work checks, issuing of employment contracts and referencing activities.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved with process improvement projects and supporting the apprenticeship team as an ambassador!

Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, this role is expected to move permanently into the Talent Acquisition Team as a Talent Acquisition Administrator.

About The Apprenticeship
HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship. Typical duration of 18 months Study and coursework completed during working hours. Dedicated support from a training provider, your manager & Early Careers team
We are looking for someone who:

- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
No previous experience is required, just curiosity, enthusiasm and a commitment to developing new skills.
Essential Requirements
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- A genuine interest in Human Resources, Recruitment and People Services.
