Overview

Montagu Evans is a UK property consultancy that helps clients unlock value from complexity, because that’s where the most meaningful opportunities live. Our purpose is to bring clarity, creativity, and conviction to the complex. We are experts who collaborate to create value, not just preserve it and our team is built for impact, not oversight. We specialise in high-value, complex assets across the property lifecycle, where political, technical or commercial challenges demand a joined-up approach.

The HR Team at Montagu Evans enables the business to deliver its objectives by providing the right people at the right time. It is a dynamic and vibrant team of 10, covering the full spectrum of HR activity (including Recruitment and Payroll).

The HR Assistant plays a vital role in delivering a seamless and high-quality people experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role is often the first point of contact for employees so acts as an ambassador for the team representing the employee experience at the firm. This role provides operational HR support to the business, with a strong focus on onboarding, HR systems and data, early careers professional qualification administration, L&D administration, payroll & benefit support, and maintaining accurate HR systems and data.

Working closely with the whole HR team, and teams across the firm, the HR Assistant ensures consistent, well-structured processes that enhance the employee journey from entry to progression. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to continually improve how the HR function supports Montagu Evans’ people and culture. As a business we are going through a period of growth and change. Our HR team is central to this, with many large scale projects and needing to look to the future on improving HR processes and the employee experience through data and AI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
