We have a fantastic opportunity to join our HR Team, providing HR Support to our sites based in Kings Lynn and Boston.
The role is on a fixed term contract for 12 months to provide maternity cover.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years experience working in a fast-paced HR role.
- Hours are Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00 (flexibility required to suit business needs).
- This is an on-site role.
- Salary is £28,000 - £31,000 based on experience.
Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
To provide comprehensive HR support to the HR Director across all aspects of HR.
- Working closely with the HR Director deliver a high quality HR service to the business ensuring service users are provided with key information on HR processes and procedures.
- Work closely with and support the Payroll Office ensuring all employee data is accurate across our payroll and HRIS systems.
The Role
Recruitment
- Work closely with the HRD to support recruitment campaigns for individual roles.
- Responsible for ensuring the corporate website is up to date with current jobs.
- Manage the recruitment inbox and respond to candidates in a timely manner.
- Coordinate interviews with recruitment agencies and direct applicants for Hiring Managers and HR.
- Ensure recruitment tracker is maintained and continually improved.

Induction & Integration
- Initiate the new hire checklist and process in a timely manner.
- Enter new starter information onto the relevant system.
- Create personnel files for all new starters and ensure that all documentation is present and completed.
- Responsible for arranging and delivering induction sessions.
- Request employment references for all new starters.
Employee Relations
- Absence Management - Monitor employee absence levels and advise line managers accordingly.
- Attend investigation, disciplinary and grievance meetings to take notes and provide guidance and support to line managers.
Employee Communication
- Production of new starter offer letters and contracts.
- Production of employee letters in relation to any salary, bonus or benefit adjustment and update all relevant systems.
- Production of letters to employees leaving the business and calculate any outstanding holiday and benefits.
- Production of probation letters.
- Draft ad hoc employee letters with direction from HRD.
Training
- Ensure the training matrix is maintained and updated alongside our management team.
- Coordinate and booking of any training requests received from management.

Information Reporting
- Timely and accurate provision of data/information/KPI’s to HRD, Finance and Group.
General Administration and Ad hoc Duties
- Maintain employee and general files.
- Arrange payment of invoices and raise PO’s where necessary using SAP system.
- Assist HR Director with ad hoc projects and duties when required.
- Maintain an awareness of HR best practice at all times.
Person Specification
- Previous experience of working within a fast-paced HR environment operating at Administrator/Assistant level.
- Ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees in all levels of the business.
Knowledge of Current UK Law
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent IT skills including, Excel and Word.
- Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident and "can do" attitude.
- Ability to work confidentially.
- Resilient and able to work in an organization that is undergoing change to development and growth.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Enjoys and is able to work well as part of a small team.
- Uses judgement and knows when to ask for help and guidance.
- Uses own initiative and can work independently.
