HR Assistant
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join a wonderful HR team at a leading US law firm in London. This role is ideal for someone at an early stage in their HR or professional services career, who is keen to develop practical and hands-on experience within a structured, supportive team. You’ll receive exposure to a broad range of HR activities across the full employee lifecycle.

- Administer HR processes including absence, parental leave, sickness, probation and leavers
- Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant personnel records and employment documentation, including contracts and variation letters
- Process and maintain employee lifecycle changes in Workday, including joiners, leavers, transfers, promotions, salary changes and parental leave
- Conduct regular HR system data checks and audits, resolving discrepancies to maintain data accuracy and integrity
- Provide administrative support for employee health, wellbeing and benefits programmes, maintaining accurate membership records
- Support employee relations matters, including conduct, capability, grievances and disciplinary issues
- Support the associate mentoring programme and biannual review processes

HR Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A desire to learn and a strong interest in building a career in HR
- An interest in employment legislation, best practice and upcoming changes
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate credibly and diplomatically at all levels
- CIPD qualification or currently working towards one would be advantageous
