Your new role
Are you looking to develop your HR career within a fast-paced and supportive environment? This organisation is seeking a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join a busy HR team, playing a key role in delivering an efficient and professional HR and payroll service across the organisation.
Working closely with the HR Manager, you will support the full employee life cycle, gaining exposure to a broad range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records management, learning and development coordination, and employee relations support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and is looking to build their experience across both HR and payroll. You'll work with colleagues across the business, helping to ensure people processes run smoothly while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and compliance.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- Experience working with HR and payroll systems, maintaining accurate employee records and supporting payroll processes.
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Supported with grievance, disciplinary, performance management and absence management administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships across the business.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidential information.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to produce reports and analyse HR data.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, with the confidence to work independently and as part of a wider team.
