Location: Bridgwater, Head Office | Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs | Salary: £28,000 + Benefits

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised HR Assistant to join our HR & Training team at our Bridgwater Head Office.

As a key member of the HR team, you'll play an important role in delivering a professional, people-focused HR service across the business. You'll be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, support recruitment and onboarding activities, prepare employment documentation, maintain HR systems and records, and help drive colleague wellbeing and engagement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong administrative skills, high attention to detail and is looking to build a successful career within Human Resources.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working in a busy office environment, supporting colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Confident to challenge discrepancies where necessary in the right manner and on a timely basis
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to produce and interpret reports and data
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Confidence handling sensitive conversations professionally and effectively

Available Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday days, 37.5hrs
