HR Assistant
With nearly 60 stores across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland & Scotland and 30 years of presence and expertise in the fashion industry, DV8 Fashion is one of the most recognised fashion names on the High Street and we have a newly created opportunity for a part-time HR Assistant to join our HR department.
The successful candidate's key responsibility will be providing administrative support on all HR related matters and take ownership of Applicant Tracking and HR Management systems. The right person for this role will be a strong administrator, preferably with background in HR. They will have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised and thrive within a fast-paced environment. The right person will have excellent IT skills and be confident in keeping up-to-date records in the HR database.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining data on our HR Management System, ensuring compliance across all stores and identifying room for improvement
- First point of contact to all HR related enquiries for our stores providing advice, delivering a professional and responsive service
- End to end recruitment activities, taking ownership of Applicant Tracking System
- Monitor completion of probationary reviews for new employees
- Issuing contracts of employment
- Update internal trackers and provide up-to-date information to payroll department
- Assist in disciplinary and grievance meetings, including preparation of letters and note taking
- Assist in Equality Commission monitoring returns and Article 55 submission
- Assist and contribute towards ad-hoc HR projects
- Liaising with payroll department generating weekly new start, leaver and change of role reports
- Preparing HR reports and ensuring data is accurate and compliant
- Assist in reviewing and implementing policies and procedures

Essential Criteria

- 1+ year's of relevant experience gained in HR Department
- Strong administration experience
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills to include sound MS office knowledge
- Confident, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with managers at all levels within a business
- Discretion and the ability to work with sensitive information while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
Desirable Criteria
- Higher qualification in HR/Business related field or working towards
- Sound knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law
- Experience using HRMS and ATS systems
Contract
Permanent - minimum of 24 hours across 3-4 days to include Monday and Friday (flexibility around work pattern)
