About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the energy sector, contributing to sustainable and innovative solutions. Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project engineering within the energy or infrastructure sectors is preferred. Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of project management principles, technical design, and engineering standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite is also required. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards is a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee engineering projects from initiation through execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify project quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Manage project budgets, procurement activities, and resource allocation effectively.
- Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the project team.
