Oakleaf Partnership is collaborating with a prominent global financial services organisation to recruit an HR Associate for their expanding People team.
About the Role
This position presents an exciting opportunity for an HR Associate with experience in the financial services sector to join a high-performing, innovative organisation operating within a rapidly evolving industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role across the full employee lifecycle, while also taking ownership of HR systems, data, and process optimisation.
Responsibilities
- HR Operations Support: Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and working closely with the wider People team, you will provide broad HR operations support across performance management, learning and development, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
- HRIS Super-user: A key element of the role will be acting as the HRIS super-user, taking ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of the HR system. You will identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance system functionality, and use data to drive greater efficiency across the People function.
- Talent Acquisition Support: You will support Talent Acquisition activity, including candidate screening, interview coordination, agency management, and recruitment reporting, while contributing to wider People projects and initiatives.
- HR Compliance: Support HR compliance, including data audits, GDPR requirements, and pre-employment checks.
- HR Reporting and Analysis: Provide HR reporting and data analysis across areas including headcount, absence, turnover, and recruitment.
- Payroll and Benefits Support: Assist with payroll, benefits, and annual remuneration processes, ensuring records and supporting documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Learning and Development: Support learning and development initiatives, including the company's online learning platform and wider capability programmes.
- Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations matters, handling sensitive information with discretion and supporting the preparation of relevant documentation.
- HR Projects and Initiatives: Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives, working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and Head of People.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, documentation, and day-to-day HR queries.
- Act as the HRIS super-user, maintaining accurate employee data, supporting users, and identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and workflows.
- Support HR compliance, including data audits, GDPR requirements, and pre-employment checks.
- Provide HR reporting and data analysis across areas including headcount, absence, turnover, and recruitment.
- Support the Talent Acquisition process, including candidate screening, interview coordination, agency management, and maintaining the ATS.
- Assist with payroll, benefits, and annual remuneration processes, ensuring records and supporting documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Support learning and development initiatives, including the company's online learning platform and wider capability programmes.
- Assist with employee relations matters, handling sensitive information with discretion and supporting the preparation of relevant documentation.
- Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives, working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and Head of People.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within an HR, People Operations, or HR administration environment.
- Experience gained within the Financial Services Sector is essential.
- A genuine interest in HR, demonstrated through previous experience, CIPD study, or equivalent.
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.
- Experience working with an HRIS; experience acting as a system super-user would be highly advantageous.
- Strong interest in technology, systems, AI, and data, with a curiosity for how technology can improve HR processes.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
- Resilient, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
