Initial 3 months with view to extend
£15 Per hour
Newbury (Hybrid)
Your New Role
As a People Associate, you will play an important role within the People Services team, providing professional, responsive, and customer-focused HR administration and support to employees and managers across the organisation. You will support the full employee lifecycle, preparing and processing employment documentation such as contracts, contractual amendments, probation letters, and termination letters, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records on the HR Information System. You will work closely with the Payroll team to ensure employee information is processed accurately and that employees are paid correctly and on time. You will also manage HR queries through the People Services ticketing system, ensuring issues are resolved professionally and within agreed timescales. Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will contribute to improving HR processes and documentation, support wider People projects, and promote a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace culture.

Ensuring Your Success
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience working with HR Information Systems and maintaining accurate employee records
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Highly organised and able to prioritise a varied workload
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Confidence in building positive relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders at all levels
- Initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to resolving problems
- A collaborative attitude, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to learn and develop

Experience of payroll administration, HR Operations, or People Services, and knowledge of Dayforce or a similar HR system, would be advantageous. An additional European language such as Spanish, Dutch, or German would also be desirable.
