Hybrid working

Oaklef Partnership is working with a leading global financial services organisation, to recruit an HR Associate to join their growing People team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, innovative organisation operating within a rapidly evolving sector. The successful candidate will play a key role across the full employee lifecycle, whilst also taking ownership of HR systems, data and process optimisation.

The role

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and working closely with the wider People team, you will provide broad HR operations support across performance management, learning and development, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll, benefits and employee relations.

A key element of the role will be acting as the HRIS super-user, taking ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of the HR system. You will identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance system functionality and use data to drive greater efficiency across the People function.

You will also support Talent Acquisition activity, including candidate screening, interview coordination, agency management and recruitment reporting, whilst contributing to wider People projects and initiatives.

Importantly, this role offers a clear career pathway towards an HR Business Partner position, providing exposure to a broad range of HR disciplines and the opportunity to develop commercially focused HR partnering skills. You will work closely with experienced HR professionals and gain increasing exposure to stakeholders, employee relations, organisational development and strategic People initiatives as your career progresses.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
