About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in HR Operations & Enablement at a time of exciting transformation. Having upgraded our core systems, we are now focused on delivering a roadmap of improvements to make processes more efficient, improve the employee and user experience, and better enable the business. In this hands-on role, you will help turn that roadmap into practical improvements across our HRIS and ATS platforms, building, testing and implementing solutions that support smarter ways of working and strengthen how HR Operations supports and enables the organisation.
Key Accountabilities
- Build, test and implement workflow automations and system improvements, with a particular focus on HRIS and ATS processes.
- Support the day-to-day administration of core HR systems, including report building, responding to system-related cases, troubleshooting issues and maintaining accurate, effective processes and data integrity.
- Work with HR teams to understand current processes, identify pain points and translate requirements into practical workflow and system improvements.
- Configure and support digital forms, workflows and related system changes, ensuring they are accurate, tested and aligned to change control and governance requirements.
- Deliver HRIS and ATS improvements across onboarding, recruitment and employee lifecycle administration.
- Use Power Automate and related tools to reduce manual activity, improve workflow efficiency and enhance the user experience.
- Create and maintain process documentation, testing records and standard operating procedures to support control, consistency, governance and user adoption.

- Provide day-to-day support to help embed new ways of working and ensure a smooth transition from manual to more automated processes.
About You
You will bring relevant experience in automation, workflow improvement, systems support or digital process delivery. You enjoy understanding how things work in practice and making them better through practical, well-executed solutions.
- You will have experience working with HRIS systems and be confident using systems, workflows, data and digital tools to solve real operational problems.
- You will also have hands-on experience with Power Automate, or a similar workflow automation tool, and if you have not worked with platforms such as ResourceLink/HCM Air or Eploy before, you will be confident in your ability to learn them quickly.
- You are organised, delivery-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You think about the employee and user experience when making changes, and take pride in delivering high-quality work that makes a difference.
- You build positive relationships across HR, work well with others and can operate with autonomy in your day-to-day delivery.
- You understand the importance of confidentiality, data quality and handling sensitive people data with care.
Minimum Criteria

- Experience building workflows, testing changes, solving problems and implementing process or system improvements, including support for enhancements or releases.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate, or a similar workflow automation tool, to support process automation and workflow improvement.
- Experience producing reports and dashboards, working with data to support service delivery and decision-making, with good attention to data quality and integrity.
- Confidence working with systems, data and digital tools, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to respond to user queries or cases, troubleshoot issues and provide practical support and guidance.
- Ability to create clear documentation, user guidance and supporting materials for new or changed processes, with good awareness of governance and change control requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
