About us
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our London Mission Critical team.
About the Role
You will provide strategic and operational HR support, acting as a trusted advisor to our leadership teams and play a key role in shaping our people strategy. The HRBP oversees the employee lifecycle, supports workforce planning, and uses HR insights to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on HR policies, people matters, and support the delivery of HR strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employment law, HR best practice, and organizational change.
- Partner with leaders to drive a high-performance culture, supporting consistent and equitable people practices.
- Lead complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinaries, and performance improvement.
- Promote an inclusive workplace culture that enhances employee experience and retention.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies across the business.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and offboarding.
- Partner with managers on reward, compensation, compliance, HR reporting, and business continuity planning.
- Oversee compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market and business strategy.
- Analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead HR projects, including change initiatives and development programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems while staying updated and ensuring compliance on employment legislation and HR best practices.

Qualifications/previous experience:
- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent level HR role.
- Strong employee relations experience with ability to handle sensitive matters.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.
- Relevant industry experience including Architecture.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading HR projects and supporting change initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trusted relationships.
- Strong understanding of Inclusion & Diversity importance, with ability to embed inclusive practices.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Strong listening and communication skills, with ability to influence and engage others effectively.
