This is an exciting opportunity to really make an impact and contribute to an innovative people agenda for Convex. You will play an active role in helping Convex continue to be seen as employer of choice.

Reporting into the Head of HR, UK, the HR Business Partner will partner with Senior Leaders across Convex to drive the people agenda, take ownership of all aspects of the employee life cycle, ensuring excellent employee experience and flawless HR execution.

This is a 12-months' fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Convex People team across all elements of the employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, total reward, performance management, talent management and learning & development.
  • Working closely with our outsourced HR Operations function to ensure flawless HR execution of operational activities, such as employment offers, changes to terms & conditions etc.
  • Supporting with key recruitment activities across the end to end process, including liaising with our internal talent acquisition team.
  • Supporting to develop a creative and fresh talent management and learning & development approach.
  • Supporting to embed a continuous feedback culture through performance management.
  • Preparation of people metrics & regulatory reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to employees on all people aspects including Convex’s approach to talent management, career progression, roving, recruitment, performance management etc.
  • Championing and supporting the diversity & inclusion strategy in all elements of the employee life cycle.
  • Supporting the delivery of an excellent onboarding experience for all new employees.
  • Understand needs of business and be brand ambassador of Convex.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong experience in a similar HR role.
  • Good understanding of Financial Services, insurance experience helpful.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, raise your hand and help to deliver.
  • Studying towards the CIPD would be advantageous.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, not forgetting a great sense of humour!
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
