At Beagle Aircraft, we're an established aerospace manufacturer producing engineered components and assemblies for leading aerospace programmes.

As we continue to develop our people, operations and culture, we're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Christchurch site.

This is a broad, hands-on HR role where you'll work closely with senior leaders, managers and employees across Production, Engineering, Commercial and Operations, helping shape the people agenda and support the continued development of the business. If you enjoy being close to the operation, building trusted relationships and making a visible difference across the employee lifecycle, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll act as a trusted HR partner to the business, providing practical advice and support while driving key people initiatives across employee relations, workforce planning, performance, development, engagement and organisational change. You'll have ownership across a broad HR remit, from onboarding and employee development through to complex ER matters, absence management and people reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with senior leaders and managers to support workforce planning, organisational priorities and people initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases, supporting investigations where required.
  • Own and continuously improve the employee onboarding and induction experience.
  • Coordinate performance and development processes, including PDRs, goal setting, training and career development.
  • Support organisational change and transformation initiatives, helping managers and employees navigate change effectively.
  • Maintain HR policies and processes in line with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Manage absence processes, return-to-work activity and employee healthcare schemes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support monthly payroll administration.
  • Produce People Dashboard metrics, HR reporting and insights to support management decision-making.
  • Drive employee engagement, communication and continuous improvement across the site.

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident operating in a manufacturing or production environment and enjoys working closely with the business. You'll ideally have:

  • 3–5 years' experience within an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or similar generalist HR role.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, production or similar operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice and employee relations.
  • Hands-on experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, employee development and organisational change.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise and influence managers and senior leaders.
  • Good HR systems, reporting and data analysis capability.
  • CIPD qualification would be highly advantageous, although we're equally interested in candidates with strong relevant HR and manufacturing experience.
