Role Overview

GSK are looking for an HR Business Partner to join the team at GSK HQ in London. This person will report to the Global Functions Transformation Lead and provides an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to play a pivotal role in partnering with business leaders to drive successful organizational transformation and restructuring initiatives. You will provide expert advice and support in the design, delivery, and execution of restructuring activities aligned with GSK’s strategic priorities. The role is agile and does not have HRBL/business soft alignment, it will be flexible and support peaks in business demand or projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the GF Transformation Lead to successfully deliver sizeable global, local or complex change projects.
  • Build strong relationships with HRBLs/BPs and business leaders to understand their goals and challenges and provide tailored HR solutions to support transformation objectives including workforce restructuring, outsourcing, acquisitions and divestments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering insights and guidance on restructuring best practice and change management strategies.
  • Support the development and delivery of restructuring materials, including organizational design frameworks, workforce planning tools and communication plans.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure restructuring processes comply with company policies and local employment laws ensuring continuity of licence to operate whilst still achieving the business goal.
  • Develop pragmatic solutions to complex, escalated HR queries by interpreting local legislation, HR policies and processes.
  • Utilise digital, data, and analytics tools to gain insights, inform people strategy execution, and drive leadership and organisational effectiveness.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure effective change management strategies are in place, minimizing disruption and supporting people through transitions.
  • Monitor and report on restructuring progress to ensure key milestones are achieved and risks are mitigated.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong experience of planning & delivering large scale, global, transformational, cultural and organizational change projects.
  • Thorough understanding of employment legislation and HR governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders globally in a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations diplomatically.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in delivering change projects against timelines to achieve required business outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data, provide meaningful insights and recommend actions.
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Proven HR and business transformation experience.
  • Strong understanding of organisational transformation and restructuring.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
