About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join Industrial on a 12-14 month fixed-term contract, providing vital support during maternity leave coverage. This hands-on, generalist HR role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional ready to step into a strategic partnering position. You will work closely with managers across the organization, delivering practical HR advice and support throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Your expertise will help foster a positive employee experience, ensure compliance with HR policies, and contribute to the company’s broader HR initiatives.
The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR guidance, supporting employee relations, and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and other HR processes. You will play a key role in identifying and resolving people-related issues, supporting employee engagement activities, and maintaining accurate HR records. Collaboration with the wider HR team on ongoing projects will be essential to ensure consistent HR practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have solid generalist HR experience, with a strong understanding of employee relations, HR policies, and best practices. You should possess excellent communication skills, confidence in working directly with managers, and the ability to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice. Relevant qualifications such as CIPD Level 3 or above are preferred, although extensive hands-on experience can also be considered. Candidates who are either looking to transition from an HR Advisor role to an HRBP position or already operating at HRBP level are encouraged to apply.
Experience in supporting employee relations issues, recruitment processes, and HR project involvement will be advantageous. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate a proactive approach to HR challenges is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily HR advice and guidance to managers and employees to support a positive and compliant workplace environment.
- Assist managers with employee relations issues, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
- Advise on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and legal compliance across the organization.
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding processes.
- Work with managers to identify and resolve people-related challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and other HR projects aimed at enhancing workplace satisfaction and productivity.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all HR processes are followed diligently.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team on strategic projects, policy updates, and organizational development initiatives.
