Assist in bringing science to life from behind the scenes with a leading pharmaceutical company and play a key role in delivering impactful human resource solutions!
R&D Partners is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide guidance and support to employees and management while contributing to the continuous improvement of HR programs. You will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance, support organizational changes, and assist in recruitment and employee relations. This is a hybrid position based in Livingston, UK, with occasional travel required.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
- Offer advice and support to less experienced HR team members.
- Help improve HR processes and implement new programs.
- Provide HR support to employees and managers across different departments.
- Build strong relationships with HR specialists and other internal teams.
- Assist managers with onboarding new employees.
- Review and recommend updates to employment laws, compliance, and HR systems.
- Educate and guide managers on HR-related topics.
- Support organizational changes like mergers, acquisitions, and employee transfers.
- Ensure compliance with local laws during restructuring activities.
- Prepare reports and analyses for senior management.
- Assist with recruitment and selection processes when needed.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions.
- Collaborate with senior HR team members to resolve employee issues.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience working in a matrix organization is a plus.
