About The Role

As an HR Business Partner in Birmingham City Centre, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational effectiveness of the Human Resources department within a top-tier advisory firm. Your primary focus will be on partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to deliver strategic HR initiatives that align with the company’s business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on employee relations, HR policies, and compliance matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence organizational development and contribute to a positive workplace culture. You will be responsible for managing complex employee cases, analyzing HR metrics to inform decision-making, and supporting recruitment and talent management strategies. The position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Human Resources, preferably within the professional services sector. A proven track record of building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization is essential. Candidates should have extensive experience in handling employee relations issues, HR compliance, and implementing HR policies. Knowledge of employment legislation, performance management, and talent development is crucial. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively advise and influence stakeholders. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM. The ability to analyze HR data and translate insights into strategic actions will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organization to support business objectives.
  • Support and lead the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals and values.
  • Manage employee relations, including resolving complex cases with professionalism and confidence.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations that inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to develop strategies for attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and employee development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to organizational change management and development projects to enhance workplace effectiveness.
