Opportunity for an HR Business Partner
Location: Taunton or Yeovil
Salary: £31,877.75 (based on an FTE of £39,315.89)
Contract: Permanent, Part time
Hours: 30 per week
Working pattern: Flexible and hybrid working arrangements supported
About the Role
The HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in ensuring our people are supported, valued, and empowered to deliver exceptional outcomes. Working closely with managers, you will help create a compassionate, inclusive, and high-performing workplace that enables the hospice to provide the very best support for patients, families, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Business Partner, you will:
- Be a trusted advisor to managers and leaders across designated teams.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, organisational change, and people management.
- Support managers to build strong teams, promote wellbeing, and create a positive and inclusive working environment.
- Play an active role in workforce and organisational development initiatives.
Daily Activities
- Managing and supporting a broad range of employee relations matters.
- Supporting leadership growth and confidence.
- Working collaboratively with managers.
- Supporting projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience.
Requirements
- Building trusted, credible relationships with managers and colleagues.
- Managing a varied and complex HR workload.
- Handling a wide range of employee relations cases with confidence and compassion.
- Influencing and coaching managers to develop their people management capability and confidence.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and values-led culture.
