What you'll do
The HR Business Partner is a critical, regionally aligned role within the People, Brand & Culture (PB&C) organization, supporting employees and leaders across Southern Europe and Ireland, with a particular focus on Switzerland and Ireland. Working closely with Strategic Business Partners, business leaders, Legal teams, and Centers of Excellence (COEs), you will provide pragmatic people advice and local expertise to support business objectives, manage employee-related matters, and ensure compliance with local employment requirements.
You will advise managers and employees on a broad range of people topics, including employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, organizational change, and the application of people policies and practices. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, you will help navigate differing employment frameworks, cultural considerations, and business needs while delivering consistent, practical, and compliant solutions.
You will build trusted relationships with stakeholders, act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, and work in partnership with PB&C colleagues to effectively execute enterprise people programs and initiatives. Through strong judgment, attention to detail, and a people-centric approach, you will help translate global people strategies into locally relevant solutions that support business success while delivering a positive employee experience.
Your internal job title will be Solutions Partner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
