Cvent is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to provide HRBP coverage across Europe, APAC and the Middle East. You will be a trusted advisor to people leaders and support the delivery of the people agenda across multiple countries, working closely with HRBP peers globally.
Business Partnering
- Partner with people leaders across the region, acting as a coach and sounding board on talent, performance, engagement and change.
- Work with the HRBP in supporting the implementation of Cvent's HR strategy.
- Collaborate with our HRBPs globally to uncover trends, transforming insights into actionable recommendations that drive continuous improvement across Cvent.
- Shape culture and engagement: interpret engagement results and drive practical actions with leaders.
Employee Relations
- Advise people leaders on employee relations matters across the region, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary and grievance.
- Work in collaboration with Senior HRBPs to resolve complex issues.
- Work with Legal and HR COE’s to manage risk and ensure compliance with local employment law and internal policy across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal standards while driving proactive HR solutions.
- Review and develop HR policies and ensure consistent, compliant application across countries.
- Support formal consultation processes where required.
People Processes and Programmes
- Support delivery of performance, promotion and recognition programmes, coaching managers through each step.
- Partner with Recruitment, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and People Operations to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead regional and global HR projects and process improvements that raise efficiency and the employee experience.
- Support the people aspects of change, transformation and restructuring, including integrations or acquisitions where relevant.
- Collaborate closely with peers globally, which will be instrumental in building out the role and delivering projects successfully.
- Support manager capability through coaching and training on people management skills.
- Support the development of data-driven insights and strategy to drive measurable impact.

AI and Ways of Working
- Use AI tools thoughtfully in day-to-day HRBP work, such as analysis, insight generation and preparation, applying human judgment and protecting confidential employee data.
- Champion responsible AI adoption with people leaders and share learnings and best practices with HRBP peers.
- Stay current on emerging AI capabilities in HR and recommend improvements to people processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Extensive, demonstrable HR Advisor or Business Partnering experience in a corporate, technology or professional services environment.
- Proven experience advising people leaders and handling employee relations matters, with sound knowledge of UK employment law; exposure to European, APAC and/or Middle East employment practices is highly valued.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation, supporting multi-country, multicultural workforces and working across different time zones.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Track record of supporting restructuring or HR projects with measurable business results.
- Credible, pragmatic and collaborative, with the judgement to work independently, prioritise in a fast-paced environment and build trust with people leaders.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
