About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join Hays HR and support our internal teams and clients. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner, providing expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers. Your primary focus will be on fostering strong stakeholder relationships, driving people-focused solutions, and supporting key initiatives such as workforce planning, organizational change, and talent development. You will play an integral part in managing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and leading HR projects that enhance operational efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence HR strategies, support organizational growth, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 7 qualification and membership of Chartered CIPD.
- Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner within complex organizational structures.
- Strong background in Employee Relations, managing complex cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance issues, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
- Experience leading organizational change, restructures, and HR projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing HR data and utilizing insights to inform decision-making.
- High level of discretion, judgment, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
As a Senior HR Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with senior leaders and managers to provide expert HR advice aligned with business objectives, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organization to support HR initiatives and organizational goals.
- Manage complex Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, redundancy, and TUPE matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employment law, HR policies, and effective people management techniques.
- Support workforce planning, organizational change, and talent management initiatives to meet evolving business needs.
- Oversee HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit, ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly.
- Drive employee engagement and performance initiatives to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.
- Lead and support HR projects, change programmes, and process improvements, embracing technology and AI to enhance service delivery.
- Analyze HR data to produce insights, reports, and key people metrics that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, confidentiality standards, and company policies, maintaining high standards of data integrity and HSEQ compliance.
