Are you an ambitious HR Business Partner who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments?

Do you enjoy partnering with senior leaders, driving organisational change, and building people strategies that directly impact business performance?

Hays are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful, innovative, and technically focused organisation. They are seeking a commercially minded People Business Partner to join their People team and play a pivotal role in shaping workforce strategy, leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, and employee performance. This is an opportunity to work within a demanding, ambitious, and evolving environment where agility, resilience, and a solutions-focused approach are essential. The successful individual will be comfortable challenging constructively, influencing senior stakeholders, and helping leaders navigate rapid growth, change, and transformation.

As a People Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, translating business objectives into practical people strategies that enhance capability, engagement, and performance across the organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver workforce planning initiatives, talent strategies, succession planning, organisational design projects, and leadership development programmes, whilst ensuring people decisions are informed by data and commercial insight. This role would suit someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels and is energized by working in an environment where priorities move quickly, and continuous improvement is expected.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
