Join the Close Brothers Human Resources Team where you will establish and sustain robust relationships with business stakeholders, providing strategic HR advice and practical guidance, whilst ensuring all HR activities are fully aligned to the overall HR people plan.

Working as part of the HR team our ideal team member will have previous experience in effectively partnering stakeholders across a business with a confident and credible approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a confidential sounding board to stakeholders and contribute to shaping of the business and functional priorities.
  • Deliver an excellent HR service to client groups.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the firm's business model through appropriate resourcing, including the development of high-calibre managers.
  • Support the Snr HRBP on delivering organisational design and changing operating models, cost efficiency programmes, including identifying people risks and issues arising from the proposed change activities.
  • Set the tone within the business and local HR team, by encouraging an inclusive culture and role modelling the company values and expected behaviours.
  • Support the Snr HRBP on Senior Manager regulatory applications.
  • Through the Talent Acquisition Business Partner team, ensure we promote a fair and inclusive recruitment process and employ high calibre and diverse employees.
  • Contribute to a high performing, engaged team, and sponsor people initiatives within the client groups.

Developing Our People

As a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • A CIPD qualification or equivalent level of experience in a HRBP role as a minimum.
  • Managed HR transformation programmes.
  • Willing to challenge in a respectful and constructive way.
  • A proven ability to use data insight in decision making, identify themes and the bigger picture.
  • Able to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, is resilient with a proven ability to manage ambiguity and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Adept organisational and planning ability with a dedication to a client-focussed approach.
  • A keen interest in diversity and inclusion with experience in designing practical initiatives to improve diversity, whilst maintaining an inclusion culture.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience of working within Financial Services.
