What's the opportunity?
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner - UK & Ireland to join our People team in London.
Supporting approximately 130 employees across the UK and Ireland, you will provide practical HR guidance to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters. This role has a strong focus on employee relations, absence and performance management, organisational change, compliance and employee lifecycle activities.
Working within wider EMEA and global HR frameworks, you will partner closely with the Senior HR Business Partner Europe, Country Management, central People teams and external advisers, helping to deliver effective HR support while contributing to a positive employee experience.
What will you be doing?
- Acting as a trusted HR advisor to managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, conduct, performance, capability, probation and mediation cases.
- Managing employee relations cases from initial review through to conclusion, ensuring appropriate processes, documentation and escalation where required.
- Supporting managers with short and long-term absence management, Occupational Health referrals, return-to-work planning and reasonable adjustments.
- Providing guidance on flexible working requests and employee wellbeing matters.
- Supporting organisational change activities including restructures, redundancies, role changes and business transfers.
- Preparing consultation documentation and employee communications, while supporting consultation meetings and implementation activities.
- Supporting TUPE-related activity across the UK and Ireland.
- Providing guidance to managers on performance management, improvement plans, objective setting and probation processes.
- Supporting recruitment and wider employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, contractual changes, family leave, flexible working and offboarding.
- Assisting with learning and development initiatives and manager capability programmes.
- Supporting salary review, bonus and benefits activities, ensuring agreed changes are implemented and communicated accurately.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of UK employment law and relevant Irish employment practices.
- Supporting the review and implementation of HR policies and local processes.
- Acting as a point of contact for payroll, pension and benefits-related matters.
- Producing HR reports and people metrics relating to areas such as employee turnover, absence, payroll and recruitment.
- Working closely with EMEA and global People teams on regional projects and initiatives.
- Supporting employee engagement, communication and culture activities.
- Managing right-to-work compliance activities and supporting visa and sponsorship processes.
- Supporting HR projects and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working.

What are we looking for?
- Strong generalist HR experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience managing a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability and probation matters.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting organisational change, consultation and redundancy processes.
- The ability to advise, influence and coach managers while recognising when specialist support or escalation is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written skills with experience preparing HR documentation and employee communications.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and sensitive matters within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using HR systems.

- Experience working within a multi-site or international environment.
