About DHL Supply Chain

DHL Supply Chain is the world's leading logistics company, and our people are the unsung heroes who keep the cogs turning and the country running smoothly. Behind every successful operation is a team of talented people, and we're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to help us attract, develop and retain the very best talent in the industry.

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives and driving a high-performance culture. Working closely with stakeholders across the operation, you will build strong relationships, provide insight-led people solutions and influence decision-making through data, challenge and partnership.

This role will play a key part in supporting a significant period of organisational change, including a site closure programme. You will lead and support collective and individual consultation processes, provide expert employee relations guidance, and ensure change is managed fairly, compliantly and in line with DHL's People Promise.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to the business, ensuring people strategies enable delivery of customer commitments and operational performance.
  • Use employee and workforce insight to improve engagement, retention and productivity, supporting consistent service delivery.
  • Anticipate people‑related risks that could impact customer outcomes and proactively implement mitigating actions.
  • Ensure fair, timely and professional handling of employee relations matters to protect customer confidence and service continuity
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business strategy into clear people priorities, providing insight, challenge and advice.
  • Influence leadership behaviour and decision‑making to balance commercial outcomes, employee experience and compliance.
  • Build effective relationships with unions and employee representatives, leading consultation and negotiation where required.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence and wider HR Teams (Operations/ Functions) to deliver integrated, business‑relevant HR solutions.
  • Share insight on external trends, labour markets and internal performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Own and embed core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency, compliance and high‑quality delivery.
  • Use workforce data and analytics to diagnose issues, identify trends and drive evidence‑based people decisions.
  • Lead and support organisational change, start‑ups, TUPE transfers, contract loss processes and restructuring activities, ensuring these are planned and executed effectively and in line with legal and operational requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of people processes to improve efficiency, reduce risk and enhance employee experience.
  • Ensure accurate data quality and governance across people systems and reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
