About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team at Hays HR. In this strategic role, you will partner closely with senior leaders and managers to provide expert HR advice, support organizational initiatives, and drive people-focused solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to influence and shape HR strategies that enhance workforce engagement, organizational effectiveness, and compliance. You will play a crucial part in managing complex employee relations cases, supporting workforce planning, and leading HR projects aimed at continuous improvement. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to make a tangible impact on business success.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 7 qualification and be a Chartered CIPD member. You should demonstrate proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner within a complex organizational setting. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employment relations best practices is essential. Candidates should have a solid background in managing employee relations cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, redundancy, TUPE, and performance issues. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills are required, along with the ability to influence senior leaders. Experience in organizational change, restructures, and HR projects is highly desirable. Analytical skills to interpret HR data and support decision-making are also important, as is the ability to work independently with high discretion and sound judgment.

Responsibilities
Your new role involves a wide range of responsibilities designed to support the HR function and business objectives. You will:
- Partner with leaders to provide expert HR advice, helping to develop and implement people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships as you support workforce planning, talent initiatives, and organizational change programs.
- Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, and performance matters.
- Provide guidance on employment law and best practices, coaching managers to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit, ensuring HR policies and procedures are consistently applied across the organization.
- Lead and support various HR projects, change initiatives, and process improvements, embracing new technologies and AI to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Analyze HR data to generate insights, produce reports, and monitor key people metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to HSEQ standards in all activities.
