MacGregor Black is partnering with a manufacturing business to appoint an HR Business Partner at its Kent site. Reporting directly to the People Director, you will provide hands-on HR support to site leaders and managers while taking ownership of wider people projects. The role requires high visibility at the manufacturing site and also requires travel to Head Office, potentially once a week.

Key responsibilities:
- Partner with site leaders and managers on day-to-day people matters, providing practical and timely advice.
- Manage complex employee relations cases through to resolution.
- Coach managers on performance, absence, conduct, and other people issues.
- Lead and contribute to strategic projects covering areas such as engagement, workforce planning, talent, and organizational change.
- Build strong relationships across the manufacturing site and with colleagues at Head Office.
- Use people data and feedback to identify priorities and improve HR practices.

What we’re looking for:
- Broad HR generalist experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex cases.
- Confidence working operationally in a busy site environment, alongside the ability to deliver strategic projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the credibility to influence at all levels.
- A pragmatic, approachable style and willingness to travel to Head Office as required.
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 plus bonus.
