🔧 The Role

A leading global organisation within the satellite communications sector is seeking an HR Business Partner to support key business areas across the UK and France.

This is a high-impact role combining strategic HR partnering with hands-on delivery. As the organisation evolves its operating model - moving transactional processes to shared services and AI-driven platforms - you will act as the dedicated, high-touch advisor for complex employee relations, change management, and strategic workforce challenges across a large client group.

💡 Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused solutions across a complex matrixed business
  • Navigate complex local employee relations and manage relationships with French Works Councils and UK Employee Forums
  • Support ongoing business evolution, organisational design, and change management initiatives
  • Partner with leadership through transitions to centralised shared services and new HR operational models
  • Collaborate with specialised global teams across Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Total Rewards
  • Provide autonomous, high-touch advisory with minimal handholding required

🧠 Essential Experience

  • 6–8+ years of HR experience, with a substantial track record at HR Business Partner level
  • Proven experience partnering with client groups of 400+ heads within a complex, matrixed organisation
  • Native or fluent French language skills (essential for local ER and Works Council oversight)
  • Direct, proven experience managing French Works Councils and UK Employee Forums
  • Strong background in change management, organisational design, and complex ER
  • A conscientious, self-starting mindset with the confidence to operate independently
  • Broad industry background welcome; experience navigating complex matrix environments is key
