HR Business Partner
Northampton | £40,000-£48,000 Depending on HR Experience | 12-14 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking to take the next step into an HR Business Partner role? Or are you already operating at HRBP level and looking for your next opportunity?
We're working with an established organisation in Northampton that is looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team on a 12-14 month fixed-term contract, providing cover for maternity leave.
This is a hands-on, generalist HR role where you'll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
The Role
You'll Be Responsible For
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Advising on HR policies, procedures and best practice
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
- Working with managers to identify and address people-related issues
- Supporting employee engagement and wider HR initiatives
- Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring processes are followed
- Working closely with the wider HR team on ongoing projects and initiatives

About You

You Could Be
- An experienced HR Advisor looking for their first HRBP opportunity
- An established HR Business Partner looking for a fixed-term position
- An HR professional who has already started taking on more strategic or partnering responsibilities within their current role
You'll need strong knowledge of generalist HR and employee relations, alongside the confidence to work directly with managers and provide practical, commercially focused advice.

Key Details
- Salary: £40,000-£48,000
- Contract: 12-14 month fixed-term contract
- Location: Northampton
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
- Working pattern: Primarily office-based, with Friday afternoons working from home from 12:30pm
- Start date: Ideally mid-November
