Our client, an industry leading, multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund, are looking to make a “HR Business Partner” hire into its expanding London office.
This newly created position will be reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering. The hire will take ownership for a broad range of HRBP tasks, extending to managing HR infrastructure buildouts, upgrades, and project work – a major project initially being the implementation of a new HRIS firmwide, which the hire will play a key role in leading. The hire will take ownership of corporate client groups including risk, technology, operations, and sales. More broadly, the hire will have sole ownership for a broad range of HR Business partnering responsibilities, including:

- Working to drive improvements across performance management processes
- Development and execution of HR policies

For a firm of its size, stature, and stage of development, this is a highly visible & autonomous role specific to its expanding London office.
Candidates Requirements:
- Ideally have 4-8 years relevant experience as a HR Generalist, HRBP, or HR Manager
- We are ideally looking for buy-side specialists, but would happily consider banking candidates, potentially even extending to exceptional candidates from fin-tech / non-FS
- Experience using Workday is required
- Candidates must have strong stakeholder management experience, project management skills, and excellent communication skills

This is a first-of-its-kind hire for the hedge fund, so our client is committed to offering the successful candidate a strong increase on his/her current base and a year one target bonus range that will make up a large % of that base number, with an upside to £175k TC year one for a top performer.
