Who are we?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company co-headquartered in Toronto and San Francisco, with key offices in London, New York City, Montreal, Seoul, Germany and Paris. Join us!
Why This Role?
We're hiring an HR Business Partner in London to help scale Cohere through an exciting phase of growth.
You'll partner with our Modelling organization, supporting teams across Research and Engineering. Working alongside a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll help leaders build high-performing teams while gaining exposure to some of the most interesting organizational challenges in one of the world's leading AI companies.
This isn't a traditional "policy and process" HRBP role. At Cohere, HRBPs are trusted partners who help shape how teams scale, managers grow, and organizations perform. You'll contribute across organizational design, leadership effectiveness, performance, talent strategy, employee experience, and organizational health in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment.
If you love building, enjoy partnering with highly technical leaders, and thrive in ambiguity, you'll feel right at home.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
